Which of my clients can benefit most from using the CPA Server?

CPA Server was designed to meet the needs of clients who have multiple locations or simply need faster access to the information in their data files. It will be the ideal product for your clients if they:

1. Need simultaneous users from more than one location.
2. Perform their own data entry into QuickBooks®.
3. Need access to information when out of the office.
4. Need to add customer, product, and vendor information from multiple locations in real time.



How does the CPA Server differ from the QuickBooks® Pro or Premier that my clients are currently using?

CPA Server builds on the features offered in any existing version of QuickBooks® by allowing you and your clients to access the information in real time from anywhere in the world.



Where can my client go to purchase CPA Server ?

The CPA Server is only available for purchase from companies who intend to resell the service, such as CPA firms or Accounting firms. If you would like to purchase the service, please click on the Subscribe link on the menu to the left.



Is the CPA Server guaranteed?

The CPA Server is backed by a satisfaction guarantee.

If you are not satisfied with the service, you can simply notify us within 30 days for a full refund of your first month’s user fees. Setup fees are non-refundable.

If the service is not accessible for more than 3 days in your first 30 days, you have the option to cancel and receive a refund of your first month’s user fees and any hosted application fees. Setup fees are non-refundable.


Does the CPA Server have any special network requirements?

CPA Server requires only a minimal amount of software to be installed on the client computer and runs over the internet instead of on a network just like QuickBooks® Pro and Premier do. The server can be accessed from any computer that has both an internet connection and a web browser. Clients can connect from any internet connection, from dialup modems to dedicated lines such as cable or dsl modems.


My client uses an older version of QuickBooks®. How can i find out if this version is compatible with the CPA Server?

The CPA Server is compatible with all previous versions of QuickBooks®. With the server, you can use all versions of QuickBooks® on the same machine, thus eliminating the requirement for your clients to upgrade to the newest version of QuickBooks®.
